Jackson Jaguars Cross Country 2017!!

Welcome to Jackson Middle School Cross Country 2017! We are excited for you to be part of the Jackson Cross Country team! Both of Jackson’s Cross Country coaches are new to the program this year and are eager to meet the runners and coach them through an exciting season.
Mikayla Goscha is a teacher at Jackson and has coached track at Jackson as well as Nordic skiing at Champlin Park High School. Mikayla ran track at the collegiate level and has been a nordic skier her whole life. Athletics has played such an important role in Mikayla’s life and has taught her many valuable life skills such as the value of hard work, perseverance, commitment, and community with others. Mikayla loves introducing kids to sports, helping them become life-long athletes, and hopefully sharing some of those same values that have impacted her. Mikayla is looking forward to meeting each of the Jackson athletes!
Michael Harralson helped coach the Oxbow Creek Run Club in 2017, where he still plans to spend some time as he has a daughter and son still running at Oxbow. Running has had a tremendous impact on Michael’s life and he is excited to motivate others to find the joy of running. Michael is an avid runner who runs multiple races every year and volunteers as a run mentor for Mile in My Shoes in Minneapolis. He believes that running is the cornerstone to a healthy lifestyle and he loves setting an example by running with his own children and the kids at Oxbow and Jackson.
The coaches will be in touch in the coming weeks about details for the season.
